What will full day Smiley Summer Camp be like?
Our summer camp program will offer a variety of activities. The exact daily routine will be determined by the teachers based on the children enrolled. It will include a balance of play time in the playground and nerf room, science explorations, art activities, music, stories, and more. We will also plan some special events.
What will Summer Activity Camps be like?
Our summer activity camps are week-long camps that last 3 hours a day (9am to noon). The children will have some time to play in the indoor ball pit and playground areas and then they will gather to do themed activities. June activity camps include Slime & Slides Camp, Nerf Battle Camp, and Art & Adventures Camp. July and August camp themes will be announced soon. Who are the teachers?
Our teachers are trained and ready to make summer camp an amazing experience. Each of our summer camp classes will be led by a teacher from a local elementary school. The second teacher in each class has experience working with children in childcare and/or summer camp programs. All teachers are certified in first aid, CPR, and AED. The manager over the program has a master's degree in elementary education with early childhood specialization. Learn more about our staff at the bottom of this page
How much is summer camp?
Our weekly rate was $250 but we have reduced it to $175/week. You can enroll for 5,6,7,8,9, 10, or 11 weeks. You are paying for the enrollment spot and not paying by attendance. Therefore, weekly tuition is for the weeks you register for due regardless of attendance.
We will offer breakfast, lunch, and snacks for an additional weekly fee of $25 or you can opt to bring your own meals/snacks.
There is also a one time $50 registration fee and $25 supply fee.
When can I enroll?
Enrollment is open for full day camp and the June activity camps. All enrollment spots will be filled on a first come-first serve basis. You can enroll online or at Smiley.
What are the hours?
Our full day Smiley Summer Camp operates from 7:30am to 5:30pm. Children can attend all or part of the day. Please let the teachers know your child's schedule.
Our weekly activity camps are Mon-Fri 9:00 am til noon.
What paperwork is required?
You can enroll online or in person. If enrolling online, an enrollment packet will be mailed to you. If enrolling in person, an enrollment packet can be completed at Smiley. Paperwork will include an emergency information sheet, an enrollment contract, a behavior contract, a waiver, and an all about me paper. You will also receive a summer camp handbook electronically.
Who can attend?
Our summer camp program is open to any child completing kindergarten through 5th grade in June 2024. Space is limited to 22 children in each class.
